Other founders are getting deals, press, and inbound. The difference isn't their company. It's their story.

The founders building audiences on LinkedIn aren't necessarily building better companies than you. They're just better at telling the story of what they're building. And that gap compounds.

  • Customers trust them before they trust you
  • Investors see them before they see you
  • Recruits follow them before they find you

You have the story. You're just not telling it — because you're too busy building, and when you do sit down to write, it doesn't come out the way it sounds in your head.

Goodtrepreneur

Turn one honest conversation into a full month of content — in your voice

Steve leads a 40-minute interview each cycle. You talk; we build from your transcript — LinkedIn posts, short-form clips, and distribution when you're on retainer — so your narrative stays active while you stay focused on the company. On Single Session we hand everything to you ready to publish; nothing changes about what you're buying except who hits post.

Steve Hayton is a journalist and entrepreneur who has spent two decades drawing stories out of people who don't know they have one — from BBC and Top Gear to the investigation that helped expose the Dieselgate scandal — and later as CXO at GAN/GVN, designing founder-facing programs for accelerators worldwide. That mix of interviewer's instinct and founder empathy is exactly why the content lands where generic ghostwriting doesn't.

He finds the story you didn't know you had
He writes it in your voice, not his
The content attracts customers, investors, and recruits — not just followers
How it works

Your words. Not ours. Not AI's.

Every post starts with a recorded conversation. We pull your exact phrases, your examples, your instincts from the transcript — and build content from that. The result sounds like you because it came from you.

Step 1 — The interview

A 40-minute conversation via Riverside. You talk, we ask questions. No prep, no briefs, no topic lists.

Step 2 — The transcript

We work from the full transcript of what you said — your words, your phrasing, your specific examples. This is what makes the posts sound like you.

Step 3 — The content

Posts written from your transcript, clips edited from your recording. For retainer clients, we publish everything. You don't lift a finger.

Questions founders ask

Common questions

A ghostwriter starts from a brief you write. Steve starts from a conversation he leads. The interview is where the real story comes out — things you'd never put in a brief because you don't realise they're interesting. Most founders share something in the first 20 minutes that becomes the best piece of content they've ever published. That's journalism, not ghostwriting.
Yes — because the content comes from your words, not ours. Steve listens for the phrases you use, the rhythm of how you explain things, the specific details you reach for when you're not being careful. The posts are written from that. Founders regularly say they had to read it twice to remember they didn't write it themselves.
Forty minutes for the interview. A few minutes to review drafts and send back notes. That's it. No prep work, no briefing documents, no back-and-forth that takes longer than the original task. The whole point is to get your story out there without adding to your plate.
Every founder says this. Two decades of journalism means Steve has sat across from people who were certain they had nothing worth saying — and walked away with six publishable stories. The job of the interview is to find what's there. Your job is just to show up and talk.
We use Riverside.fm, which records each participant locally instead of over the internet, so picture and sound stay sharp no matter how flaky the connection is. The finished clips look and sound professionally produced — broadcast-grade quality.
We handle this before you record. We send a simple setup guide and walk you through background, lighting, and audio — most people only need small adjustments to gear they already own. If you want extra peace of mind we're happy to run a quick tech check beforehand.
Yes. The full interview is recorded and we keep the master source file. That lets us go back for new cuts or future content without booking another session, and nothing is lost if a clip ever needs to be re-exported.
No. Single Session is a one-time engagement with no commitment. Monthly Retainer and Team / C-Suite each have a three-month minimum, then continue month-to-month. If you want to test the process first, Single Session is built for that.
You do. Once Goodtrepreneur delivers the content, it's yours to post, repurpose, and use however you need — investor updates, pitch decks, press outreach, anywhere. No licensing restrictions, no usage fees.
You're already spending it: drafts that stall on a blank page, sporadic posts that aren't how you'd actually pitch the company in a room, and cycles with ghostwriters who still capture none of your voice. Mostly it's frustration logged as work — not publishes you're proud of. Goodtrepreneur swaps that scramble for structured content built from Steve's interviews with you, and it usually frees more hours than patching it together the way founders do by default.
The losses show up sideways: an investor commits to someone they've quietly watched for months; a strong hire picks the competitor whose narrative they've been reading; a moment you'd have claimed if you'd posted sooner has gone tepid because you waited too long to tell it cleanly. Founders who look like they fundraise calmly or recruit without desperation usually spent months earning that head start before they needed it. Ask who matters in your next round or hiring push — buyers, talent, journalists — then picture them warm to your story before first contact versus discovering you cold. That's what's on the table when the story waits.

You're building something worth talking about.

Your story is already inside you. Goodtrepreneur draws it out, frames it for the right audience, and turns it into the content that puts you in front of investors, recruits, and customers before you make the ask.

It all starts with a 30-minute call.
